Hurricane Sandy Hits Seaside Heights, Jersey Shore

 
Many hold memories of the Jersey Shore Boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, that was destroyed in the path of hurricane Sandy. Also known as the place where the cast of the television show "Jersey Shore" would work and hang out. The destruction of the the boardwalk brought pain to those to all around the world. Little do people know that isn't the first time something has happened to the boardwalk. On June 10th of 1965 there was a fire that caused great destruction on the boardwalk causing them to rebuild.

The big question today is will they rebuild after Sandy's destruction? Yes! The re-construcion of the boardwalk will start in January 2013. The mayor of Seaside Heights plans on having it finished for the busy summer 13'. For being on the famous TV show on MTV Jersey Shore, 75% of insurance will cover the damage but it is estimated that a total cost $13 million will be needed rebuild.
 
One day I hope to over come my ridiculous of oceans, lakes, etc. and visit the Seaside Heights boardwalk in New Jersey. I want to live a moment to remember there on the shore and walk down the same boardwalk as the cast of Jersey Shore did. 
 
Sandy caused damage to many all along the east coast of America. Many lives were lost but many were saved. Devastation can really bring people together and make a change in not only in your life but others' as well. If you haven't made a difference start now you shouldn't wait until disaster strikes start now.

Colorado Legalizes Marijuana!

 Colorado The First State to Legalize Marijuana

During our exciting 2012 election with Obama being re-elected into office, there was another celebration in one particular state. Colorado passed a law legalizing Marijuana becoming the first state to do so. With amendment 64, adults will be able to grow their own cannabis. Though it is still illegal against Federal law. Adults over the age of 21 will be able to have less than 1-ounce in their possession  People will be able to keep the remaining harvest which will be over and ounce. Now is it only for Colorado citizens only? Of course not! If you're a visitor in Colorado you have the same rights has the citizens there. Now for marijuana citizens who had the marijuana in their possession when it was illegal and got in trouble for it, will still be in trouble for it. Those penalties will still stick to that person. 

My Thoughts....

I think it is completely fine with what the state of Colorado did but I think it's a little unfair for other states who have not legalized it. In my opinion everybody is just happy they don't have to sneak around smoking marijuana and worry about hiding it because it now its legal.  If they wouldn't have passed it people would still smoke it anyways. But if you look at the statistics when it comes to smoking alcohol is more dangerous than it is smoking marijuana. Also when smoking cigarettes for so many years, will give you health problems related to heart, lungs, etc. Marijuana doesn't give off any bad affect except maybe the smell of it but that is it! Why you think they give it to you when you have a health problem? To relax your mind and muscles.

Cleveland Bus Driver Uppercut: Man Punches Woman After Argument....

Artis Hughes a 22 year employee who works for Regional Transit Authority in Cleveland (Age 59) got into a physical altercation with 25 year old Shidea N. Lane (Picture shown on the right, on the left is Artis Hughes and on the right is Shidea N. Lane). Lane after she refused to pay her bus fare. Hughes repeatedly told her to pay the fare or get off the bus and that is when she caused a big scene. Lane began to talk crazy towards the bus driver and hit and spit in his face. With Lane still talking Hughes became very angry stood up and gave her a harsh uppercut. After doing so he then through her off the bus but she came back on and they continued to fight until the passengers on the bus tried to break the fight apart. Few people video taped the fight and later spiraling the web everywhere (Video shown in the first link below). Also below is a link of the incident and the police report.


MY THOUGHTS.....



Yeah, yeah people say you shouldn't hit a female just because she is a female and blah blah blah blah! In this case she deserved to get hit. The only reason I say this is because she spit and hit on him. Now you working your tired you don't have time to deal with that foolishness after awhile you will get tired of hearing all the yapping in your hear. Now am I saying it is right to hit a female? No I am not saying its right. Yes what he did may be wrong but she was wrong as well.


UPDATE....

Both Artis Hughes and Shidea N. Lane was charged. Hughes with assault and Lane with orderly conduct.
